I'm a Newfounlander, born and bred. Random Island is my home, an island near Clarenville, NF.
Married with two kids, I am content to be at home writing and being a mom. I wasn't always this way.
Not so long ago, I was an ambitious buisness woman. I owned and operated a small Hair Salon from
my home. I was very committed to its success. However, Septermber 1998 introduced me to a new reality,
Multiple Sclerosis. At age twenty-eight, being diagnosed with a disease such as this, life becomes so much
more precious. Since that time, I have been cultivating my writing interests. I have found much peace
and enjoyment in this fantastic gift. Life has not been the same since MS, but in many ways, it has become
so much better.

As a high school student, I was the weird one who loved literature. I have always had a love for writing,
whether it be a poem to my husband or just a few silly words scribbled on paper. These days, that love
has been made very prominent in my world. I am anxiously awaiting the release of my first book,
"A Child of The King." This is a story of challenges, struggles, victory and hope. One I desire to touch
and inspire others. I am also continuing to work on a collection of short works which I am aiming to have
published as well.
I have been quite fortunate to make a number of beautiful friends via the Internet.
I have been using this gift to motivate them, especially through a MS online magazine called "Musings."
My ambition now is to be a source of encouragement for others. I believe and have accepted that this
is what God had initially planned for my life.
