Veronica A. McCall was born and raised in Washington, DC where her parents enthusiastically encouraged her to express herself through public speaking and writing. Veronica enjoyed an extraordinary youth full of music, poetry, art and other forms of culture which kept her motivated and focused on vibrant expression. She began writing at a very early age, writing poetry and short stories. Later, she pursued higher education at Norfolk State University and after graduation married her college sweetheart, Juan L. McCall. She currently resides in Richmond, VA with Juan and their boys Sedale L. and Clifton J. McCall. "Dear Sistahs" is Veronica's first published book. It is a small, but very powerful book of inspiration and motivational letters to women, each covering a different issue that women face each day. "Dear Sistahs" captivates and encourages women to seek to live life with more purpose and meaning in an effort to be the strong and powerful women God has created us all to be.
