"Don't Worry, It'll Grow Back," Wendell's new book of essays is inspired by his life in an old-fashioned barbershop. Hilarious, Touching now ready for you to peruse, enjoy, and tell all your friends. Read excerpts here and at: http://www.authorwendellthorne.com

Background Information

A one-time Criminal  Defense and Employment Discrimination attorney, I walked away from the practice for a number of reasons; long hours, lots of travel, a change at the EEOC level, O.J. Simpson, and my four kids.

I'm a musician and a pilot, a citizen of Red Sox Nation and a member of the NRA, and my most enjoyable job is that of father to my children.  I get waaaaaaayyy more out of them than they get from me, and that's plenty!

My writing influences include William Goldman, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Carl Hiaasen, Tim Dorsey, Randy Wayne White.  I have four projects working at any given time, work full-time in the barbershop and write in the middle of the night; my juices flow after midnight.

Enjoy my words and please, feel free to offer any and all unbridled criticism/review.  thanks

Additional Information

Me second full-length non-fiction is now available. "Don't Worry, It'll Grow Back" is a collection of essays and stories inspired by my job as a barber. Humorous, Americana, human interest and pithy, I think you'll enjoy the transparency, and self-deprecating style. Many do. My first full-length non-fiction book, "An Elephant In The Living Room - Is It Too Late To 'Kill All The Lawyers'?" IS AVAILABLE NOW, PLEASE USE LINK BELOW From my vantage point as a former lawyer, I use my own experience and historical case law to illustrate how the Law is a semi-transparent shroud over the lives of all Americans, preventing us from enjoying the freedoms guaranteed by our Framers, and how lawyers and judges allow their greed and lust for power to usurp the Constitution. My faith is evident within the pages of this important critique, and I enjoyed writing it as much as (I hope) you will enjoy reading it. Also available at Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble online www.bn.com thanks
