Carol credits her mother with instilling in her that driving need to write. She shares the story in "Full Circle" a letter written to her mother thanking her for the gift of love of writing. Carol has always been a daydreamer, and often regaled her four younger sisters with tales of love, horror, and suspense. Today, she sets her stories, thoughts, and feelings to paper and cannot imagine living life without this ability. She credits writing with saving her sanity.

Carol has written numerous Poems, and short stories. One poem was featured on a website as Second place winner of a poetry contest (title: The Haunting) Two are published in anthologies. Her favorite story "The Heart Remembers" that tells of how she came to know her mother after having been separated for many years was published in "The Next Voice You Hear", a literary magazine created and published by Rick Baber in Springdale Arkansas.

Carol resides in the panhandle of Florida where she is mother to four children, and works full time as a nurse. In her sparetime, she enjoys her hobbies, of which there are many. She's been known to say she is "jack of all trades, master of none", when descrribing herself and her assorted hobbies. Hobbies are her hobbies, for she starts each one, challenged to learn as much as she can about it, before the next challenge comes along, and away she goes with that one. She has taught herself how to play a few tunes on a piano, cross-stitch, crochet, computer internet, and recently, has undertaken the study of such esoteric things as Tarot and Astrology. She wonders, "What comes next!"
