Renee has always wanted to be an author, ever since she was about five years old when her parents had given her a "personalized" children's book that featured her as the hero of the story. Seeing her full name in print was where the dream to become an author began. After a career in Radiology, two children, and helping her husband maintain a beautiful farm, Renee finally found the time to write the story that has lived and breathed in her for twelve long years. In December 2008, "Ræliksen" became a reality and has been bought in Ireland, Norway, Germany, France, Holland, Japan, and all across the US.
Renee has also joined with musician, Mícheál Ó Caoinleain, to put together a Soundtrack for the "Ræliksen" novel, which features the arranged and orchestrated theme song for the Ræliksen Book Trailer as seen on YouTube.
Renee is a member of the Romance Writers of America (RWA), Ohio Valley Romance Writers (OVRWA), and the Kentucky Romance Writers (KRW), as well as a regular Coffee House Author at COFFEE TIME ROMANCE
Praise for Ræliksen:
The author has done an excellent job of bringing the past back to life with her vivid characters. I do not know much about this era, but the historical detail is very impressive. The story itself is very involving, with vivid characters and an exciting plot. Her written descriptions are particularly well done and the reader will have no problem picturing settings and characters.

The imagery in this book will take your breath away. Ms. Vincent’s way with words is stellar, drawing the story in your mind as you read through the pages. Her characters are well developed and come to life, jumping off the pages and into your mind – and finding their way into your heart. The storyline is engaging and will keep you intrigued from the first very page to the very last. This delightful book is definitely a shelf-keeper and one that I will gladly read again.

Take a step back in time with Renee Vincent and fall in love. Thorough in her knowledge of the time period, Ms. Vincent paints an accurate picture of the combating cultures, and creates a love story that will have your heart melting. You'll bond with Mara, the Irish heroine, and fall for Daegan, the should-be enemy. Through surprises, dangers and heartfelt moments, you will begin to see history in a new way--and come to feel the depths of love in a way so pure, so real, that the story becomes your story. Raeliksen is a well written, deep novel; and long after the final words are finished, the story will echo within you: always present, always beautiful, always Raeliksen.
