I was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Phillip and Arianne Lee on December 25, 1973 and was raised in the small town of Lumberton, Mississippi. I am married to Lee Davis also of Lumberton, Mississippi. We have two young boys, Tyler (1999) and Matthew (2006).
Becoming a published author has been my dream for many years. My love for literature began at an early age, but did not manifest itself until I was much older. I was a middle school student in the Lumberton Public School system when I began writing short stories and poetry. When I was in college I finally had the nerve to share my poetry (written under Glenda Lee Crowe) and stories with others.
I had no desire to pursue a career as a professional writer at that time, but now I finally realize that it is time for me to pursue my dreams. I contacted Publish America, LLLP in the Spring of 2009 by sending them a rough draft of my manuscript. To my surprise it was quickly accepted and my journey began.
I am also an Algebra I teacher at Lumberton High School. This, my first chosen career, keeps me very busy at home and at work. The life of a teacher is not all that some assume it to be. It is very tough to not only teach these students your subject matter, but you have to help them learn the value of friendship, love, and honesty. For some of these students I have played many roles besides a teacher- mother, sister, friend, and aunt.
The official release date for my book is unknown at this time. This will be a day of celebrating because my novels are like children to me- I cherish every one dearly. I am currently working on the second novel in the series, Force Recon: Reb. My plans are to have this one sent to PublishAmerica by the end of the year. Hopefully this time next year I will be actively writing my third novel with two best sellers on the shelves.
