I have grown up in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, USA.  I am the mom to two young boys that are my life.  My oldest is disabled and life has been a struggle for us and I would have to say that he is my main inspiration.  He is also the subject of my first book.  I want to reach other parents of special needs children.  I want them to know that they aren't alone.  They aren't the only ones that have to deal with constant doctor's visits and hospital stays, even though it sometimes feels like they are!  I have been there many years and I am working my way out of that and they can too.
