"Writing is a key to learning and learning is a key to success."

Background Information

It is no secret that I love to write. I started writing poetry and short stories when I was very young. I remember writing a letter to my grandma, whom I lived with, every night. As a child most of my writing was about my dogs. This is a habit that I did not quit all together. I still write poems about my pets every now and then.

Besides being a writer, I am a wife and mother of two. I have been with my husband, Randy, for 12 years. My son's, Michael, 11 and Dakota, 3, keep me very busy. People often ask me how I found the time to write a book. My answer to that is I write when they sleep.

My family and I live in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. It is a beautiful place but the weather is totally unpredictable. It has been my expreiance, however, that nothing in life is ever predictable.

I have a degree as a PC Specialist.
