Until the last couple of weeks I have barely done any work on poetry. I'm still learning and really I'm only a beginner. The first poem I wrote is only 2 years old. That poem is Life Gone Wrong which was written during a really strange year for me. My best friend died instantly when he was hit by a car, my other friends turned their backs on me and my mother was put in hospital with 3rd burns. All of that together put so much emotion inside me it burst out through my writing and so my first poem was born.

Spinning complacently in the darkness, covered and blinded by a blanket of little lives, False sercurity has lulled the madness of this world into a slumber. Wake up!! An eye is upon you, staring straight down and keenly through, seeing all that you are and everything that you can never be. Yes, an eye is upon you, an eye ready to blink.
