He received his Ph.D. in environmental engineering from the most well-known university in the world (unfortunately for the tragic massacre on April 16, 2007). His engineering work included monitoring water quality, overseeing watershed management, responding to environmental disasters (e.g., fish kill, chemical spill), and managing national environmental quality assurance programs.
After completing seminary training, he had a career change, from engineering to minister. He is now serving as the pastor at the Chinese Bible Church of College Park, near the University of Maryland.
