From being very young I was always read to. Literature is a big part of my family and a great love. I fell hard for all those turn of the century morality poems, Mathilda and the rest. I've also got a soft spot for classic ghost stories and such. Not much modern horror really rings my bell anymore, I try to get hold of the odd collection of shorts but my real love is crime. Whether classic English garden party stuff or you're hard boiled Americana I don't care. Give me death, give me detectives, I'm happy.
My most popular stories have been the "Dead Dave" collection, I'd like to tell you they're high art, it'd be a lie. They are however, great fun to read and they have big guns in 'em. Ironically, I'm scared of guns.
