I always had a thing for music. When I was younger I wanted to be a rockstar. I imagined myself "making it big." aA few years later I then discovered that I had absolutely NO musical talents whatsoever. I did discover that I had a talent for writing though. I began writing in middle school when I was 16 and I haven't stopped since. I have published a book entitled, "The Blood of a Poet," and I am currently writing my second book. Poetry has been my outlet, my relief, my safe haven, and now my future. Expressing myself through poetry has helped me in ways that I never before thought possible.  I began to realize that I actually was becoming that "Rockstar" that I had always dreamed of being. For what is music without words?? There is art behind the music and that is me!!

Publication of my book entitled, "The Blood of a Poet," A certificate of heroism from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvannia for saving my little brothers' life, and recently I have decided to go back to college which is a HUGE achievement for me.
