Although I've lived in several states, and now reside in Minnesota, I consider Illinois my home. That's where my family lives and I miss them every day. Still, my husband works in Minnesota, and I figured our marriage had a better chance if we lived together. We just celebrated our 25th anniversary with a cruise. When we returned we bought a puppy. Aimless (Amy) is a Brittany Spaniel, now four months old, and a joy when she's not a pain.
I can't remember a time when I didn't read. The first thing I did when we moved to a new city was learn the bookmobile schedule. But, as Dad says, not many people can support themselves writing, so I became an accountant. After ten years of running my own business, I closed the doors and began writing. As it turns out, Dad was right. I picked a lousy time to write, and couldn't support myself with it. But I do love it and don't regret giving up accounting.
As soon as Amy gives me more than ten uninterrupted minutes, I plan to return to my third novel. I love twists and turns and the unexpected in a mystery. They're fun to read and fun to invent!
I love to hear from readers, so don't ever be shy about emailing me. I learn a lot from you!
