My history is a book within itself. I was born October 3, 1975 in Copperhill, TN; but raised in Dawnville Georgia. As a child I was bright, full of imagination and easy to get along with. As I got older (Pre-teen/ Teen) I was known as a shy and quite girl. Middle School and High School was difficult for me. To my peers, I was considered at the bottom of the popularity meter. I was made fun of and was ridiculed. As for me, I just minded my own business and made pretty good grades.
When I became a young woman, I became the black sheep of the family. I left home when I was 16 1/2 years old. I ended up on a very dark path. Finally when I turned 22, I found my way back to the right path. I went back and finished school, I got my high school diploma. I also went to College at Cossa Valley Technical School, in Calhoun Georgia.
With 3 children and a new love on the horizon (my future husband), My spirit and Imagination was reawaken. I begin to write. I poured my heart out on paper. My first book was published with an amazing sense of accomplishment. Even though times were ruff and jobs few and far between. I knew I could not make the bread and butter on a new author's income. So I took another job that most people would shun their nose in the air at, and say "Not Me! Never!"
I became a School bus driver. I know what you are thinking. "No Way! Not You!", I say to you. "Yes Way, Yes Me". I love my job. I love working with Children/ Young Adults. I love my salary pay and I love my hours. The Children that are entrusted to me on a daily bases have became a part of my life. I love them like my own children. They are inspiring me each and everyday with new ideas. My imagination is continually in the world of New.
Since I only work 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening. I have many extra hours of the day for myself. I have so much free time to do what I love to do; and that is to write. Don't forget all the other benefits that come with my job. I get paid even when I am not at work. I get every holiday off that school students get. I even get the summer off to do as I please. So this is Perfect for me. My Life is full, Accomplished, and Exciting.
I am Mother and Wife. I am Book Author and Bus Driver. I am Counselor and Doctor. I am Cook and Mrs. Fix It. I am Daughter, Sister, Niece and Aunt. I am Granddaughter and Sister-in-law. I am Daughter-in-law also. I am Happy and Fulfilled. I am Friend and Companion. I AM WOMAN. I am Who I Am, and I am loving every minute of it.
For more information about my life, For more information about me read my books. "Through the Hourglass: A True Story" is about my life. Also know that there is a part of me in each and every one of my books. I love being me and hope you also love knowing me.
Thank you so much,
Tabitha Robin
