I am a believer and follower of the Resurrected ascended Man from Galilee—having faith, trust, and confidence in Jesus Christ the Nazarene as the Messiah of God, Son of God, and Savior of the world; Who now sits in the heavens as Man, simultaneously having had bestowed upon Him all the authority, power, and attributes of the God who “Fathered” Him (through the surrogacy of His Holy Spirit), by the side of His Heavenly Father, with Whom, Supremely paradoxically, He originally shared the “spotlight” and was for this reason co-equal with and identical to the Father, they each being, at that “point in eternity” past, Spirits in Being. I am therefore, a Christian (a Protestant), of African-American descent. I live here in the United States of America, in the state of Texas, in the city of San Antonio. While I do not subscribe to the teachings of any particular denomination, I do in fact hold and may no doubt continue to hold membership in the Baptist Church (until, that is the Lord decides it is time to do otherwise; moreover, I can see and affirm that all the denominations suffer from huge doctrinal issues and problems, due chiefly to a lack of any real commitment or concern for the things of God, beyond a kind of “surface” superficial relationship, established on their terms, not God’s).
Concerning educational background, I was a Bible Major at Grand Canyon College (now a University), in Phoenix, Arizona (U.S.A), before, I “dropped out” eight hours shy of graduation, to drive trucks, as of 1989 (to get control of my finances and GSL repayment.). I drove for 12 plus years plus. I have been a Christian for almost 35 years, saved while a young man (at just approximately 23) in the military, stationed at Kunsan, AFB, Korea. I have been walking with the Lord ever since, waiting for His leading. Looks like my “ship”, per His direction, may have come in as of 1.5 years ago (@ 2004, that is! This testimony was first written then).
As for occupation, guess you might say that for the time being I am a writer (or “budding” writer), having quit my full time job as a long haul truck driver almost one year ago to devote myself, my “talents”, my service and my savings (my life-savings) to the service of the Lord and the propagation of His Kingdom in the face of a world that grows more hostile, with each passing day. My writing effort consists mainly in the compilation of
three (now, in the main) 5 books.
As of yesterday, 08/22-23/09, I have published my first e-book with mobipocket.com and with Amazon.com. The title of the book is “Rain Drops, from Hell” (keywords, by which to find the book in each sites search boxes: bible prophecy). It is a commentary on the 18th chapter of the Bible’s Book of the Revelation. It is, furthermore, a detailing of America’s place and role in the Bible’s portrayal of end-time things, or, events and happenings that are to occur before the end of the world, as we know it. Thus, the work is a sterling, pungent and stirring fly-in-the-face of current and prevailing evangelical and fundamentalist dogma which portends that God somehow omitted any mention of the most powerful, most significant nation of all time, from His determination and ambitions pertaining to the culmination of life as we know it, in this most dangerous and deadliest of times—since the initial construction of the world.
This book is part of a decision and an effort to compartmentalize the Book of the Revelation (more or less), so as to publish it in a series of sections by major themes—rather than publishing the entire commentary as one book (the work is rather detailed and thorough, covering around 350 pages; my contention is that every word is essential, so that any thought of a paring down of the work is all but totally out of the of question. Moreover, this approach allows the inquiring mind, curious and searching but not ready to commit to so much all at once, to focus his attention selectively on what interests him most about the Revelation, until he is ready to expand his knowledge to include the remainder of the Revelation of Jesus Christ.). For this reason, Rain Drops is the sixth of a seven part series of commentaries on the entire Book of the Revelation.
Stop by either of the aforementioned sites and check it out. Stay tuned as well for the other releases, as the work is complete, expect for a few minor but significant details.
