Jennie is a home-schooler who enjoys reading, writing, and drawing. She loves animals, currently owning five dogs and a tortoise. Hard work and volunteering are things she never shies away from. Music is an obsession. Almost anything labeled Rock is the shizzle. So is a good book. Science Fiction and Fantasy, particularly faerie-centered, are found on her shelves.

Background Information

I wrote my first poem (a love poem) at eight and the next was when I was 12 - unfortunately it was about depression. I'm now approaching my 15th birthday and am glad to say that phase is really over with. I find that other writers' have influenced my work over the last 2 years. Thomas Hardy, Pablo Neruda, Frank Herbert...and many non-published artists and quite a few songwriters. I really have no idea what inspires me. I s'pose everything really does.
