Katharine Weber is the author of five notable novels, most recently TRUE CONFECTIONS. Her memoir, THE MEMORY OF ALL THAT: GEORGE GERSHWIN, KAY SWIFT, AND MY FAMILY'S LEGACY OF INFIDELITIES, will be published by Crown in July, 2011.

Katharine Weber teaches occsionally in the Columbia University School of the Arts as an MFA thesis advisor. Before that, she taught undergraduate fiction writing at Yale for eight years. She spends parts of the year in France and Ireland.
