Often, if I want to read good writing about something, I find that it doesn't exist, and I have to research topics to find out what's going on with them, instead of just reading one good article or book. Having found information about a zillion things, I figured that I might as well write it all up and share what I find with the world.
Some people also seem to think I'm funny. If something that occurs to me makes me laugh, I sometimes post it on a bulletin board to see if it makes someone else laugh, too. Sometimes it does, and sometimes it makes people want to hunt me down and remove my writing from the face of the earth. (Kidding!)
Favorite books I've read recently: "Night" by Elie Wiesel, "Animals in Translation" by Temple Grandin, and "New Rules" by Bill Maher.
In response to a few people's comments about my work, please note: If you can't take a joke or tolerate differences of opinion, please go somewhere more boring.
