The original plan was to major in children's literature.  I was sidetracked for about 20 years but felt the need to write for my children.  They loved my stories and encouraged me to turn them into "real books for their friends."

In 1996 I saw a need to create a way for working people to volunteer to help children without a schedule or a lot of restrictions. Binky Patrol was born from that need. We make blankets and give them away to children and teens in need of comfort.

Art is Perfection
This site is to promote art literacy in elementary schools and for those who are home schooled. There are monthly projects featuring a different artist and medium.
