Kikue Mugen was born in Honolulu and raised in Kaneohe, Hawaii. She now resides with her family several minutes southeast of Atlanta, Georgia. Her career had her be involved as assistant Director of Ministries and a Certified Biblical/Pastoral Counselor for a large Christian Ministry in Southern California and later in Georgia. With a Th.D. (Dr./Theology), she devoted much of her time and energy traveling to third world countries offering physical and spiritual aide to people who needed assistance due to war situations and other misfortunes. Kikue Mugen is currently taking a breather from overseas travels and is now focusing her time and energy on her beautiful and talented daughter as well as writes fiction. She is presently living in the NOW as a lover of humanity and Spiritual Seeker of divine wisdom, Love, Happiness & LIGHT = Ultimate Oneness.

Most of the main characters of SOS's stories are based on true-to-life people who actually lived during the 1800's and even earlier. For instance, Fujita Goro/ Saitou Hajime is a genuine, historical person who dedicated his life to the ideals he believed in a time when it was difficult to live comfortably in Japan. During that time the country was in turmoil and unrest, and out from all the dust and grime men and women made quite a mark in history. They left behind a bounty of wisdom for us all to draw from today. The primary objective of this website, various stories, and art, is to draw your attention to the fact that although most everything here is fiction, a lot of the content is based on historical charters and events. If there should be just one of you who will, through our efforts, be motivated to study their lives and get to know a historical individdual then our purpose for this site's existence would be fulfilled.
