Conscience of Man The Lucifer Chronicles
Charlie Hawkins,an eighty-one-year-old senator from Iowa, takes shelter in an abandoned building in Washington, D.C. While he is waiting for a snowstorm to let up, fatigue and his age begin to take a toll on him. As he struggles to keep himself alive, he engages in a dialogue with his alter ego, whom he calls Lucifer Mann. Lucifer Mann, challenges Charlie with questions from his past, forcing Senator Hawkins to talk about many of the things he has seen or read about throughout his life. Charlie is confronted with the possiblity of alein colonization as well as evolution verses creationism. Qabbalism, numerology and his years as a senator all become a part of the dialogue between Charlie and Mr. Mann. This desperate period becomes Charlie's search for truth within himself, his own personal truth, as only a man faced with certain death can reveal.

Uncommon Notions
America may not be the birtplace of humor-I am told that distinction belongs to the people that invented the cuckoo clock, of course when they weren't taking everthing else so serious-however, America is filled with uncommon people and a lot of them are sharing their own uncommon notions, even if only with themselves. You wont have to go far as you venture through the pages of this book, to find some very uncommon notions of my own-like a man from Kansas that for some reason believes his wife is a vampire, simple because his money keeps disappearing right after he gets paid. You'll spend a wonderful heart felt moment with a old man in a loony bin that claims he has started every major war since WWI from his wheel chair. And find out why so few people from Iowa Golf at Greywalls in Scotland. Easter Island can befound in Cleveland if you know where to look. On and on, laugh after laugh through some very uncommon notions.
