Tonya is an attorney, performance poet, author of Seasons of Her (1999), SHINE! (2001), and co-author of The Literary Law Guide For Authors: Copyright Trademark and Contracts in Plain Language (March 2003). She has contributed articles and reviews to Black Issues Book Review, QBR The Black Book Review and the Philadelphia African-American Chamber of Commerce Newsletter. Tonya and her mother, Susan Borden Evans, own independent publishing company FYOS Entertainment, LLC, and the law firm of Evans & Borden Evans, LLC. They concentrate in the areas of intellectual property, literary law, estate planning and administration, and business law.
