I am a Kidney Transplant Receipient since July 27, 1991. I have experienced no major difficulties, have been very successful with my transplant and have worked since three (3) months after my surgery. I try to enjoy and appreciate everyday that I experience. I am a firm believer that "we come here to leave here." I love English and it has always been very important to me that one speaks correctly and I have passed this on to my children. Some negatives give me the "why are you so proper" attitude at some of my communiation efforts. What they don't understand and appreciate is the contribution I received on this and I give retribution on this to my English Teacher from the 9th Grade at Georgetown High School in J; Mrs. Lois J. Newton. She was my favorite teacher in high school. I was also very fond of my spanish teacher Mr. Salvador LaRosa, and am continously trying to master that language.

I have recently written a "re" version of The Creation (James Weldon Johnson) with revisions and additions that relate to today and the problems we face. Of course it is not for publication because I left the poet's originality in the poem. However, it is very, very beautiful and I hope that you will enjoy it.
