Spunky, sensitive, romantic, "Old Salt" who draws the inspiration for her writing from living a life filled with love, passion, laughter and tears.

Background Information

Christa Holder Ocker, a #1 New York Times best-selling contributing author, began to write short stories and poems after years of domestic doldrums.  Her story, "Merry Christmas, my Friend", translated into many languages, was adapted for TV and starred Michey Rooney.  In her latest work  "auf Wiedersehen" published by Plain View Press, she takes us on a journey into Nazi Germany that begins toward the end of World War II, a journey through every day life and world changing events.  She draws attention to the innocence that existed in Germany,   "Caught in a battle between good and evil, we children of the Nazi generation...played and laughed and formed a strong bond, unaware that not far from us other children were being gassed.
