Hello!  My name is Thelma C. Cunningham.  I am a new author.  I have just published my first book of 81 poems with the Xilibris Book Company.  I have also recently published a second book as well. Right now the books can be purchased on the Xilibris web site and all books can be purchased from Amazon and all other online book stores.  I  am very excited about these books.  The poem books  are  multi subject poetic books that express and are about love, spiritual, child jingles, everyday heart felt messages.

BIO Thelma C. Cunningham was born in the year of 1959 in the inner city middle class section of Baltimore Maryland. Her mother’s name was Thelma Diggs who later married her dad Skip Nance. Her dad died when she was a baby and her mom remarried again to her stepfather Robert Chapman. Thelma has 3 sisters and 4 brothers. They were raised as Christians. Her mother died in the year 2001 and they were residing in the Forest Park area of Baltimore at that time. Thelma married John Cunningham in 2000 who is her husband of 10 years. Thelma was educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools where she graduated from Mary E. Rodmand Elementary and Gwynn Falls Park Junior High School. She graduated from Edmondson Senior High School in the year of 1977 and went to the Community College of Baltimore later in life and graduated from there in 1992 with an A.A. Degree. She received various scholarships from Community College of Baltimore and furthered her education at Coppin State University in Baltimore Maryland where she received her B.S. Degree in 1998. She also belonged to various Honor Society’s while attending Coppin State. She pursued graduate studies at Coppin and at Notre Dame College in Maryland. She later attended UMBC in Baltimore Maryland for the A+ Certification in 2001. She attended the on line School Blackstone Career Institute in 2009 for her Medical Transcription, Medical Billing, and Medical Coding certificates. She also attended the on line School U.S. Career Institute for her Medical Assistant Certificate in 2009. She is currently taking courses in Sewing and Dress Making at the on line School Stratford Career Institute. She is also currently a member of the Maryland Writer’s Association. On line affiliations: Wild Poetry Forum, Writing World. Hobbies Poetry, singing, writing and publishing books, ceramics, painting and song writing.
