About Dallas Releford . . .
I was born in Central Kentucky during a time when you could leave your doors open and go away for two months and your privacy or your home would not be violated. Those were dangerous times just as it is today except there were something different about those times. People helped each other. I started writing when I was twelve years old and haven't stopped to this day.
In 1965, I moved to California where I studied for several years and worked a full-time job. I had little time for submitting my work and it wasn't until after I was married in 1982 that I began submitting short stories and my novels. During 1990 I was approached by Macmillan to write and edit computer books for them. At that time, I had just received my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems. I worked for Macmillan (later PearsonEd) and several other companies as a technical editor, writer and programmer for nearly twelve years. During this time I began to focus on my fiction work again. I have written fifty novels, dozens of technical articles and six computer books. Some of my work has been published and some has not. Recently, I discovered electronic publishing and formed my own publishing company, GREEN HAT PUBLISHING. In 1990, I had formed a computer consulting company. Growing tired of the competition, I closed that and started American Electronic Publishing which was an attempt to break into the publishing world with a nice contract with a traditional company. Today, the world looks better as I have published seven novels in less than three months. I plan to publish all my novels before turning my attention to helping other authors. If I'm successful I hope to help others get published.
