Canadian writer and poet, but I am a relative novice to poetry. Poetry has been a form of therapy, a spiritual guide that has launched me on a quest for some form of 'holy grail'!

Background Information

Raised in Canada, travelled extensively, 3 degrees, moved to UK in 1990, worked at BBC (London). Influences: metaphysical poets, Stevie Smith, Women dramatists, Sylvia Plath, Yeats, WW1 poets, Shakespeare!, Sydney, Spenser, and all genres of fiction.

Accomplishments

Published 'A Web of Cries' (Sept. '02) and have had numerous publications in anthologies. Phd in English Lit, specialising in British Feminist Political Theatre.
