PJ Hawkinson grew up in the Midwest. She is a Hutchinson Community College graduate. An avid reader since childhood, PJ decided to attempt writing a novel of her own and published Half Bitten through Trafford Publishing. PJ's interests include sightseeing off the beaten path, fishing, and paint-by-numbers. She admits to no favorite writer but enjoys the works of Stephen King, JRR Tolkien, Kent Conwell, and Douglas Adams. PJ envisions a life of writing alone and with her long-time friend and co-author.

PJ has just completed a science fiction book with co-author, Karen Wodke, and has hopes of publishing it soon under the pen name Wodke Hawkinson. They are currently working on a suspense novel set in Colorado with many ideas for future books.
