I'm in my last year of studies with the University of Toronto, close to completing my Bachelor of Arts. I study Professional Writing and Communication, Classics and History.
I have many reasons for pursuing writing. I love working with words because I have both witnessed and experienced their power and influence to entertain, inform and persuade. That being said, as writers, we have a lot of responsibility on our shoulders to inform ethically, write passionately and persuade properly. From creative writing to journalism to reports, every word counts because someone will be reading our work and that demands of us an assurance of quality and dedication.
On a lighter note, I love getting lost in a captivating book as much as I love creating my own work. People drive us in our everyday interactions and I also believe they drive our writing. I write about what I witness, what I experience and what I believe should be shared, both to inspire and to be inspired.
