A habitual reader of Icelandic Sagas, his writing reflects the sort of evocative themes of that turbulent era.

Background Information

I have had a long time fixation with books and reading. From my earliest memories I was surrounded by them and as the years wore on I decided it must be my calling to write them.

I have always had a wide range of interests and in recent years I found myself caught up in the allure of history and realized that is where I wanted to place emphasis on my writing.

I'd say that history itself is obviously the greatest influence of all but writers like Robert Low and Bernard Cornwell have helped keep that flame inside burning.
