I am an untrained, natural writer who has been fortunate enough to rub elbows with some very bright and gifted people through the years. I've worked with a Fulbright scholar who was a POW during World War II, a former governor of the State of Idaho, pastors, Coast Guard and Naval officers, electronics technicians and engineers, air traffic controllers, and federal administrative judges.
My writing ability was first recognized at age 12 when one of my poems was published in a school newspaper. In my early teens, my sermon notes from confirmation class were published in the church newsletter, and I co-authored a letter to the editor of the local newspaper. A monster was born!
I spent too many years trying to make other people happy by telling them what they wanted to hear. Now I just try to make them think.
