About the author:
R.C. Drake is married with two fine sons, one grandson and two beautiful granddaughters. She owns and operates a small business in her home town. Currently she has six published books, with a seventh due out for release this year.

My mother always tried to get me to write but I never did. I have since lost my Mother in 1991 and never really thought about writing, not until my youngest son got into high school. Now we are looking at having to try to put him through college. I needed extra income for that. We lost our 401K like a lot of other folks. I decided to try what my mother had said I seemed to,"Have a knack for," which was writing. I put Pen to paper and I haven't stopped writing since. I truly enjoy it. My husband is my biggest fan and greatest book promoter. He encourages me daily. I hope I can live up to his expectations.

I own and operate a small business in my little home town of Buna, Texas. A very small town close to the coast in Southeast Texas. Talking to people on a daily basis is something I truly enjoy, and in a small town that is our biggest entertainment. My first novel published by Publish America, "The Warriors Dragon," Book 1, The Gift, is a Sci-Fi/Fantasy. It is the first book of a series.
