I have written poetry throughout my life, but never shared it with anyone.   I wish now that I could find all of them I have written throughout my life.  I decided that  I am now going share my feelings with others.   My feelings are from the perspective of a wife, mother, friend and a lover.

This year has been a very painful year for me. I have lost two very special people in my life. My Aunt passed away in February and my precious neice passed away one day before my birthday. She was 21 years old. I have diverted my attention to my sewing and my business as I am trying to get through this difficult time. Writing makes me want to cry. I have written some poetry during this time but do not want to share them yet. I know that they are in heaven and someday we will meet again. It is just so hard. I was so so close to my neice. She spent the weekend before she passed with me. I made her prom dress which she never to to wear to the prom. She is now wearing it in heaven. My children adored her so much and are dealing with the loss as well. It is going to be a long road for my family and with time we will heal. Until we meet again in heaven.
