Background Information

Pamela Tuck is a native of Greenville, NC. She began her writing career with poetry in elementary school. She credits her writing to her upbringing, surrounded by southern storytellers. Inspired by teachers, family, and friends, she branched out into short stories and plays. She is particularly interested in writing stories for children, from picture books to middle-grade novels. Pamela lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and writing partner, Joel Tuck, and their children.

2007 New Voices Award from Lee & Low Books

Additional Information

Debut novel, "Color Struck", released June 15, 2010, along with re-release of children's book, "The Adventure of Sheldon, the Mushroom". Color Struck received the Flamingnet Top Choice Award. Color Struck made BOOK NEWS in the Daily reflector newspaper. Color Struck made the TOP 100 Books of 2010 List in Conversations Magazine.
