Writing is the way I breathe, the way I vent, the way I smile. I started writing before I even knew how to write. I still remember those days of looking at a page full of jumbled up chicken scratch and feeling despaired because I thought I may never figure out the trick to reading or writing. Before I turned 12, I owned four different typewriters. The day I received my first laptop felt like I was experiencing a piece of heaven. Before I graduated high school, I had already written two manuscripts, neither of which I published. However, once I turned 19, I finally became serious with my writing and published my first novel, Confessions of a Diva. Following Confessions, I wrote two more manuscripts, both which are unpublished while I continue to mold them into their final state. Currently, I am working on my thesis, a novel titled Pa's Flaw, in order to receive my MFA in Creative Writing from National University in La Jolla, CA. After my MFA, I have decided to pursue my PhD in Creative Writing as well.
Not only am I an author, but I am the CEO of my own editing and proofreading business. This buisness was created in 2008 and its success has been slow, but imminent. Currently, I have had the opportunity to work with authors from California all the way to the United Kingdom, and I have even worked with national bestselling authors, including Dwan Abrams, aurthor of Divorcing the Devil and My Mother's Child. For me, there is no limit. So when I shoot, I shoot as far as I can so just incase I start to fall, I'll land on the clouds.
