Background Information

I'm a dramatist, screenwriter, poet, author of children's books. I am also a stage director and occasional actor. I've directed theatre companies, coached actors, and am madly in love with theatre, film, and all who share this passion.   My children's plays are published by www.havescripts.com and a collection is available on amazon.com: "Charming Princes and Wicked Queens: Three fairytale heroines for the 21st Century: Snow While, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella."

My screenplay, " The Woman's Voice," was a finalist in the 2009 LA Femme Film Festival in California. I write a blog: mickeycoburn.blogspot.com.  It has always been my intention and my hope that my work will inspire positivity, courage, hope and laughter in all my readers and audience members.
