Christy Trujillo was born and raised in a small town in Northeast Florida near Jacksonville and the Florida-Georgia line. As a child she loved books on vampires and the paranormal and has been influenced by L.J. Smith. Christy currently works for a major staffing firm and writes on her lunch. She resides in Florida with her husband, son, and black cats that turned out to be anything but unlucky.

Background Information

I currently have three books available for purchase through Devine Destines. My Maldito Series is based on an old Spanish legend, El Maldito (The Cursed) a race of half-vampire, half-humans that have vowed to protect the innocent. Emmy’s Song, Emmy’s Heart, and Sarah’s Fate can be purchased at www.DevineDestinies.com, Amazon, and several other eBook sites.

I have been influenced by so many authors but L.J. Smith changed my life when I read The Vampire Diaries when I was a kid. A vampire with a soul. Well, that is something to write about. =)

I also have a shape sifter novel releasing 2/1/11 called True North and am completing my masterpiece, FireFlys that I hope to land a traditional publishing deal with.
