Writing my first story, Secret Illusions, was a huge personal achievement. A goal I'd set for myself, that seemed nearly impossible. My computer even crashed, making me rewrite the story from memory. Publishing a story turned out to be far more difficult than I'd anticipated. It took some time for my manuscript to get published and achieve my goal.
By the time the second manuscript, Deceptive Illusions, was finished, I'd learned a bit more about the publishing industry. Hoping to avoid the pitfalls encountered earlier, I used different methods and advice, only to encounter a whole new set of troubles. Still, I was determined to see my story in print.
I'm hoping as I wite my third story, the experiences I've garnered, will allow me to go through the publishing process with slightly less stress. We'll see...
