I always dreamed of becoming a playright, but after graduating Pennsylvania Military College in 1954 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and two years in the army as an infantry officer, I used my engineering degree to begin a career of research and development at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. I retired as a Director of Engineering at two Fortune 500 corporations and soon re-kindled my youthful desire to become a writer.
I have completed 3 e-Books, which are now available on the Amazon Kindle. These first e-books are: My Best 320 One-Liners, Tales of the Amphoterics and Pigwing's
I have begun converting 3 poem collections, which are now on my website, for CreateSpace and the Kindle: Poems for Jacqueline; Poems of Faith; Poems of a Random Nature. My current writing project, which is half completed, is an autobiography of my 50 year love affair with my wife and best friend: Soaring Home - The Story of Jackie and Me.
For the past 6 years I've been working as webmaster and videographer for an after-school program serving 40 children from low-income families in Boonton, New Jersey. The URL of that website is: http://www.cedarhillcdc.org.
In addition to my writing, I have posted on my website the first 21 of my original music compositions. Keeping busy with creative projects helps pass each day and night without my wife and best friend. Jackie died tragically in 2004.
