Independent author J. Alexander Greenwood's writing experience includes feature articles, news and crime stories syndicated throughout the nation in numerous publications. The grandson of the late, award-winning historical fiction novelist Robert E. Trevathan (Ballanger, Red River Angel), Greenwood enjoys the thriller and suspense genre most.
Active as a political blogger and podcaster since 2003, Greenwood is now devoting his time to fiction writing and promoting his thrillers Pilate's Cross, Pilate's Key and Pilate's Ghost. In 2011 he won first prize in the Shelf Unbound Short fiction contest for his thriller story Obsidian, which is available on Amazon. In 2012 Pilate's Key was named a "Page Turner" by Shelf Unbound Magazine.
He is author of the top-selling non-fiction ebook Kickstarter Success Secrets.

Greenwood is also collaborating with Pilate's Cross cover artist David Terrill on a novel based on Terrill's art entitled What the Gardener Saw.
He owns AlexanderG Public Relations, LLC. Greenwood is also a noted after-dinner speaker, master of ceremonies and occasional public television host. He was interviewed about his novel on NPR affilate KCUR in 2010, and on NBC Kansas City in 2012.
