I'm a tennis playing, Vespa riding geologist who loves to write.

I started writing in the 1960s when I was working for Esso Libya. My assignment was on a drilling rig deep in the Libyian desert and my work load allowed me plenty of free time to write. I started a novel titled, The Queen of Hamburger Row. It's an oil boom novel about a young woman who was forced into prostitution in a lawless boom town. When I worked in Libya I never finished the novel, but kept the partially finished manuscript for 40 years. It is being readied for publishing as I write this.

About 10 years ago I started writing again and since that time I have had five novels published. I have a series called "Richard, the Paperboy" which presently consists of  three novels with three additonal ones planned. The "Richard" series, set in 1944-45 targets readers from middle readers to adult. The novel are written in the first person with Richard, the paperboy telling the story.

The Red Scarf published in 2007 by August House.

Lyin' Like a Dog

The Yankee Doctor

The adult novels are:

The Warlord's Daughter, Love and War in Afghanistan

Choices, The Diary of a Collge Rebel

Birth Place: El Dorado, AR USA
