"We Love Harriet From A Distance: Too Black For The Black Studies Majors" by the breakthrough urban author Nzinga 4x is in the preliminary stages of editing. Check back for more updates and excerpts as the release date nears....!

Background Information

Pen-named after one of the most notorious African warriors in history, Nzinga 4x is a 24-year old dynamic author who has written about everything from Chinese Political Warfare in Guinea in the 60's to the orgies of Preachers in Atlanta. As part of her academic pursuits in the academic disclipines of Political Science, Black Studies, and Military History, Nzinga has studied a variety of related subjects such as Geo-strategy & Geo-politics, Pre-Colonial military history of African kingdoms, Cyber Warfare, Guerilla Warfare, the Slave Trade, Propoganda and Disinformation, Military Philosophy, and African intellectual history. Those interests are reflected in her writing and make for fascinating stories that explore the power differentials that exist in the black community.

A 2009 graduate in Bachelor's degree in Political Science with double minors in History and Black Studies, Nzinga enjoyed a brief stint as a producer and host for an ecceletic show on her campus student run radio station that showcased the finest in the Neo-Soul, Bebop/Free Jazz, and hip-hop genres. After many years of not writing anything creatively, Nzinga is ambitiously pursuing her life-long dream of being a self-published author in her free-time.

In addition to writing books, she is currently working on her Master's in Military History Thesis about the use of propoganda and deception in the Bush War in Rhodesia tentatively entitled "The Black-White Men: Black Face Deception during Psuedo-Warfare Operations in the Bush War".

B.A. in Political Science
M.A. in Military History (November 2011)

Additional Information

Nzinga is currently working on several manuscripts in addition to coursework. There are several books that are slated for release by the end of February, including the highly anticipated "We Love Harriet From A Distance: Too Black For The Black Studies Majors". Check back for more updates.
