I knew i was an author when i was five years old, but that was before i could even read or write! :) When i became a little older in age and had experienced some adversities in life and discovered that i actually had something to write about, i did it! I made myself sit down at my computer and wrote my first novel within a month! I didnt wait on a tradename publisher to publish my story, but figured if i did it myself i would have more control over my books and money! I self published my first novel in 2006! Shortly after i figured since i had tackled actually writing a book, i could takle becoming an illustrator, so i did that too! I set at my computer for one month and developed an African American little girl with two afro puffs and a red and white poka-dot dress! From that point, i couldnt stop creating books! Now some forty books later i tell everyone to do whats in their heart to do because where your heari is flows passion, wealth and happiness!
