Jeannie Walker is an Award Winning Author and Award Winning Songwriter. Walker's debut book "Fighting the Devil" is 2010 BOOK OF THE YEAR AWARDS WINNER AND 2011 NATIONAL INDIE EXCELLENCE AWARD FINALIST in True Crime. Walker studied creative writing in New York and Connecticut and is a member of the International Association of Writers. She is an avid reader of mystery novels.

Background Information

I am the author of an Award Winning True Crime Story - "Fighting the Devil" - A True Story of Consuming Passion, Deadly Poison, and Murder. The book is about the arsenic poisoning murder of my ex-husband - a Texas millionaire and the father of my children. I felt compelled to write the story to speak out for my ex-husband, who no longer has a voice. I also wrote the book to tell the blood-curdling details of his murder and the search for to bring his killers to justice. My mentors are Stephen King, Ann Rule, Dean Koontz and John W. Huffman.
