Montessori-trained child development specialist.
She was one of the first Head Start directors in the U.S.
She has successful careers in both art and education.
While in the grip of a mysterious life-threatening illness,
she discovered the remarkable healing power of art and of journaling.
Her full recovery without medication led to a new career as an art therapist.
Methods which Dr. Capacchione developed in her private
