I have always enjoyed writing. My favorite subject in High School was English Literature because we had the freedom to read the book we wanted and complete a set of five activities for each. My favorite project was one I did on Pet Sematary by Stephen King. He would be proud!
I like to write about the things I know and about the things I learn. I want to share my knowledge with others, which is why I have chosen to write books called The Homemaker Helper Series. The first one is complete and available in print or ebook format at Lulu.
I also have a Blog which is dedicated to The Homemaker Helper Series. New release dates, tips, patterns and other related information will be posted on a weekly basis.
My children (both now teenagers) are my world and I want the best for them. They are supportive of my writing and ask me almost every day if I have worked on my book. They are anxious to see it. After my son's illness, I changed my priorities. I used to work outside the home, but realized there was more to life than working hard and making someone else rich. I am a freelancer now and even though it is just beginning to pay off, I have been available for my children when they needed me. The financial sacrifices have been worth it.
