"If you don't know where you're going any road will do." The Cheshire Cat.
Sandy has always been fascinated by fate and how a few feet here, or a couple of seconds there, can completely change one's life journey. When Ms. Steele was 19, she contracted an unknown disease that completely left her bed-ridden. After seeing more doctors than she could remember and still gradually getting worse, she decided to do her own research to cure herself. After reading every available book on all-natural remedies and speaking with alternative-medicine doctors, she finally cured herself. This led her on a life-long journey of helping people cure themselves without drugs or doctors. This eventually led to publishing her anti-aging book, "The Beverly Hills Longevity Code," in 2006.
An avid reader, Sandy through mutual friends was able to meet her favorite author, Sidney Sheldon in Beverly Hills. He encouraged her to write fiction because he saw her incrediable thirst for knowledge concerning human interactions and overcoming life's problems. This meeting eventually resulted in the publishing in late 2010 of her first novel, "The Twilight of Sunrise Sunset," a story about a couple who loses everything and their battle to return to the top from the abyss.
Born in Texas to a military family, Sandy grew up in Europe. Experiencing countries from Russia to Italy gave her a sense of how different the world is, but that people are basically all the same. Living in Atlanta and LA for the last 20 years gave her an opportunity to meet some of the most down-to earth and incrediably brilliant and giving folks, one could ever imagine.
Sandy's currently devoting her time and money to helping abandoned dogs and cats via rescue organizations and building dog parks where needed. Her "smarter than me" Border Collie Susie has just launched her own current-events blog, "Sandy Steele's dog Susie Says."
