Background Information

Hawk grew up in Arkansas and Texas.

In addition to professional articles and texts on fetal and adult anatomy, Hawk has authored several novels. Moccasin Trace, a historical novel, was nominated for the prestigious Michael Shaara Award for Excellence in Civil War Fiction and the Writers Notes Book Award.

As part of an eight-book contract, the first two books in his Craige Ingram Mystery Series--Vault of Secrets and Nymro∆ Resurrection--received national attention when they were released by Wandering Sage Publishing Group in 2009 and 2010. Blood and Gold and The Lady of Corpsewood Manor, the third and fourth books in the thriller/suspense series, are scheduled for release in 2011 and 2012.
