I have been writing ever since I can remember! I wrote my first poem/song in 1st grade. All is lost now, except the title, Danny Al See (where that came from, I don't know!). I love to read as well, and as a child I loved Laura Ingalls Wilder's books, and nowadays I devour Sandra Brown novels, Harry Potter and Star Wars books, and biographies. I earned an Associate in Arts degree in Theater, Media emphasis, from Cerritos College. While there I also wrote, directed, and produced several segments of "Campus Outlook", mostly covering sports. I also have been writing to two penpals that I have had for over 20 years.
Many everyday things inspire me, and could end up in my stories, as I try to observe people to make my writing as realistic as possible. Going to concerts has helped me with Dark Harmony, as I observe how people react to rock stars (it can get very funny, and very scary!), and watching them onstage, how they move and react with the audience and each other, is fascinating.
My other interests are Star Wars (love the prequels!), Harry Potter (books and movies), Hootie and the Blowfish, Collective Soul, Green Day, Dusty Hughes, Patrick Davis, comedies and action movies, trying to find out as much as I can about Asperger's Syndrome, scrapbooking, couponing, and just learning in general.
