The man with the way with words whose words convey a trillion meanings to worlds' lives!

Background Information

As a working journalist I hear and see a lot about a lot. Most of what I know can never be part of any report for it would destroy lives.

Such data is adequately veiled, embellished  and published as fiction [often several layers of imaginary events are added to the basic real life incident] to retain reader interest.

I will quote a senior diplomat friend - Wonder Harry where the fiction ends and the fact begins.

Birth Place
Mumbai,  India

Co-authored a book sponsored by UNDP on the nicer aspects of the aftermath of the 2004 Asian tsunami.

Broke the story about the identity of former Indian PM Rajiv Gandhi's killer for the BBC. It was a world scoop in multiple languages - viz. English, Hindi, Tamil and Urdu. I broadcast in all these languages.

Covered the Asian tsunami [2004] extensively for Deutsche Welle, including detailed coverage of former President Bill Clinton's visit.

Rescued over 4000 Tamil bonded labourers.

Successfully litigated against a regional government in India 7 times [100% success]. The endeavour virtually stopped police encounter killings in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

Was mentioned in several international awards for factual reporting during the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi and the Asian Tsunami in 1991 and 2004 for the BBC and Deutsche Welle respectively.

Additional Information

Well, my investigative reports have made the chairman and managing director of a prime public sector bank in India controlling money measurable in trillions of rupees squirm. He may soon lose his job and go to prison. My reporting endeavour had indirectly stopped the Maldives' coup from succeeding.

Welcome to the Indian heat, Asif Ali Zardari
The flip side of Sonia Gandhi and Asif Ali Zardari who managed to ascend the thrones of their nations in a manner of speaking after the "convenient" murders of their spouses. The less said about the surviving perpetrators the better!

A caddish Kaddish for injured souls
This is an autobiographical account of the travails of a journalist - me - which sounds like fiction to many.

Certifiably Unbankable
This is one man's righteous indignation against the injustices being meted out to hundreds of people by the mover and shaker of a public sector bank. Now subjected to a scrutiny by the CVC, the CMD of Indian Bank - may not just lose his job but might go to prison as well. And this is being done without any hidden agenda.
